I seem to be playing Wii Sports boxing alot lately (mainly with friends) and every once and a while my nun-chuck gives out on motion sencing. its embarising to have ur glove not moving and trying to block and attack with one glove.

can i fix this without buying another nunchuck

It may just be the game. I had numerous occasions where the nunchuk movement was not registering. I got so frustrated with Wii Boxing that I stopped playing it.

Have you tried jiggling the connector between the nunchuck and the Wiimote around? My nunchuck has acted up a couple of times, and that usually sets it straight right away. Also, check to see if you have anything blocking the connection, like a piece of lint.
