    i was thinking maybe the CC has motion sensing too, and it might be for some type of thing for it to sit in, similar to the racing wheels and shit. seems not likely but it's the best my pot addled mind could come up with

    I think you clip the Wiimote on it but I'm not sure since I don't have one to try it with.

    The purpose for these slots remains undisclosed
    but i believe i also saw some where that is where the wii-mote connects to but that could be a different slot.

    KNow what Id like to see... A holster for the wiimote when yer playin with the classic, just incase if you got that urge to walk away with it in yer hand, I do, its wireless and thats in my head...
    If the Xbox 360 console falls and hits someone, especially a small child, it could cause serious injury.
