    Does the Wii Classic Controller play all Wii games?

    Specifically, my daughter would like to use a classic controller to play Animal Crossing City Folk. She is used to playing AC on the Gamecube with that controller and doesn't like playing it with the Wiimote.

    It depends on the game. If you look on the back of the case for the game it'll show which controllers can be used. If it doesn't have a classic controller symbol in the top right corner then it is not supported. I'm sorry to say that is the case with animal crossing. Have to use the wiimote.

    I dont think you can use the classic controller with wii games you buy in stores. Only games that you buy off the wii shop channel on your wii.

    there are a variety of games that can be used with the CC.
    Wii Games: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Heatseeker, Excite Truck, Wii Play, NHL 2k9, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Strikers Charged, Shaun White Snowboarding, The Bigs, Guitar Hero: World Tour, Ghost Squad, Call of Duty: World at War, Wii Sports Resort, Punch-out!

    check ssbb, mariokart, and others.
