    Wii power light is green, nothing on tv

    Forgive me, I'm new. My power light is green but there is nothing showing up on the screen. I've had my Wii for about 2 yrs, and no problems so far. I tried disconnecting everything but same probem. Also the remotes are not turning off and on the console. Please help this rookie. Thanks

    Yes. Our TV has 2 video inputs. I tried both.

    I'm having a similar issue, but a little more strange. I have three seperate component channels opn my HDTV in which I can use my Wii. The first two have sound, but no picture. The third, has picture but no sound. Other units, such as dvd players, work perfectly fine on all three component channels.

    Wii will not work properly on a standard def TV we own either. Is there a known issue with the a/v cable that comes with the Wii?
