    Why wont my Wii play Videos???

    When i insert an SD card with vid's on it, it show the same image the whole time and only plays like 10 seconds of sound.

    Uhhhhh I don't think wiis can play videos,

    Yes, the Wii can play videos. But it's not very flexible as to which format it can play, The manual has more information.

    The Wii can only playback Motion JPEG formatted video from the SD card by using the Photo Channel. Motion JPEG is very old and the videos will be low quality large files, so converting stuff to Motion JPEG just for the Wii would be a waste of time.
