playing wii on a monitor

i want the cheapest way to connect it can i use these stuff instead of a expensive converter

VGA cables aren't really that expensive.
Them things probably wont work so try a proper Wii VGA cable instead

you need composite cable (redgreenblue) and composite to vga adapter. some monitors support coposite so u dont need the adapter but you would need the composite cable. is the cheap solution to ur problem. not a great one tho.

I literally was looking at the exact same setup as your 2nd setup. Is there any reason that this wouldn't work as i'm very limited on money & this seems like the cheapest setup?
