wii turns off after 2 hours playing cod black ops

I use usb loader to play.
do you guys think its because my wii is unlocked/softmoded that this is happening?

if not what can be some of the things causing it?
I use a western digital external hard drive btw.

we can't discuss mods here, it's just the rules. lots of people have problems with black ops so it could be just the game.

Nintendo won't repair it sense it's modded.
