WiiMotes with jumpy buttons

Hey guys i just got my Wii about a month ago, black refurb from gamestop, played a few games, got Super Smash Bros. Brawl and hacked my Wii.... but now I'm having jumpy buttons on any wiimote that connects (friends bring their wiimotes and it jumps)

What i mean by jumpy buttons is when i press a button during gameplay it acts like im rapidly pressing it, ie: in brawl when i have a fireflower it does rapid lil bursts of fire instead of a constant stream...

Im wondering if theres a way to fix this cuz it makes gameplay slightly more difficult than it should be
