external HDD problems

Hello, i was trying to connect an external hard drive to my Wii, but it wont power up, it acts like it isn't getting any power. Is there some way to make it so that the Wii allows it to draw power continuously and doesn't block it? I just dont know what to do....

You can plug a External HDD into a Wii, it wont do anything but you can.

There is a way of getting it to work, but we aren't allowed to tell you for legal reasons.

i know you can plug one in, but how do you edit the controls for the usb ports so you can use them better

I will simply be using it to store music and game saves on, as my wii memory is full

An SD card is your only bet for external storage.
