    Does the Wii support USB 3?

    I want to plug in a usb 3 thumbdrive and have the older style wii. Theoretically, it should work because of backwards compatibility of USB 3. Has anyone actually tried this?

    The wii does not support external storage apart from an SD card. So, theoretically, it shouldn't work.
