    what is the procedure for reloading the operating system on a WII?

    Check the disc. Make sure it is not dirty. If it is clean then maybe the lens inside the Wii is dirty. Take some canned air and blow it gently into the wii disc slot to try and clean the lens. If that fails I'd say contact Nintendo about getting it fixed
