problem with my connection.

I've been trying to set up my wifi pci card as an access point for the wii via wifiusb. it just can't connect to it.

I tried giving my wifi pci a static ip and the same default gateway and dns server as my cable modem.

then setup a wireless connection on the wii with a different static ip with the same default gateway and dns server as my wifi pci.

i can find access points around me so it's not the wifiusb.. soo i'm stumped

bump!! please somebody help. i just need to know how to get online on the wii with a pc tha has internet and a pci wireless card. i don't have a router
