    DS has bluetooth right? If this is the case I'd imagine this would be most likely. Correct me if im wrong.

    It will must likely to be wireless using bluetooth or wi fi or something.

    wireless is the way forward!

    the question was about DS to Wii connections...

    the DS doesnt use bluetooth IIRC, it uses a wifi standard, as does the wii.

    so connecting them together would be on an ad-hoc wifi basis...

    the USB adapter is only to connect your wii or DS to your pc/laptop to use your existing internet connection
