    Wii Friend Code: $post[field5]

    Some games will import your current Wii friend codes

    This might not be news to anyone, but I hadn't heard it before:

    ign blog

    The online mode has a lot of promise, although I was slightly disappointed to learn that the game doesn't import your Wii system friend codes, as Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree does.
    I've been wondering what the point of bothering with Wii system friend codes is, since so far, every other game is going to have it's own codes. I guess there could be some payoff.

    .. What are you talking about? (Seriously, you aren't making much sense)

    So far, the only game I have that has any sort of "online" is Elebits, and it uses the standard friend codes.
    Owned: Excite Truck [8 GRP], Wii Sports [6G, 7R, 8P], Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess [9G, 5RP], Elebits [7GR, 5P], Wii Play [5G, 8RP], The Godfather: Blackhand Edition [10G, 9R, 7P], Super Paper Mario [8G, 6R, 5P], SSX Blur [10 GRP].
    Rented: Rayman Raving Rabbids [6G, 7R, 9P].
    Wanted: Resident Evil 4, no Wii games currently.

    G = Gameplay Rating, R = Replay Value, P = Party Rating, all out of 10.

    A number of titles have already been announced as having their own 12 digit friend codes separate from the system, released or not. The Big Brain title above is the only I've heard of that uses the system's codes. I'll take your word on Elebits, though. Either way, the fewer friend code hoops we have to jump through, the better.
