Try changing the channel to either 1, 6 or 11. It should work fine on any of these channels. Goodluck.

I'm starting to think some Wii's have MAC filtering and some don't.
Every wireless device has a MAC address, it's like a unique identifier. The MAC filtering isn't done on the Wii it's done on your wireless router so that you can restrict what devices can use it. Your Wii definitely has one, try setting up a new connection and the MAC address will be shown

in your router configuration settings, there should be an
option to change the wireless channel.

normally (for UK) the channels range from 1 to 14, with either
6 or 11 being the most commonly used. all these are are slight
increments on the 2.4Ghz frequency to try and avoid conflict or
    intereference from other wireless devices.

please be aware that equipment such as DECT telephones, microwave
ovens, double glazing and central heating radiators can also affect a
wireless signal. other stuff like tv's, high density wooden furniture
are amongst regular household items which can degrade the signal.

always try and keep the wireless access point / router fairly high up
in the room and in a central location with as much "line of sight" to
    the Wii as possible.

Sometimes the wireless connection on Wii is unpredictable. I have several wireless routers running in bridge mode at home and I have already get my Wii connected through one of the router wirelessly. Two days ago, it failed to connect to the internet. I ended up setting wireless 2 to another router using exactly the same settings (manual IP and gateway). The interesting part is the original connection was at the main router (gateway) and now it works on a router that bridged to the main router which is uplinked to broadband.
