    Which Router?

    Looking to connect my wii to online, can it be done with a wired router or is it just better to get wireless.

    My wii sits a good 20-25 meters away from my moderm, so can I hook it up with a Wired router and a network cable?
    Wii owner since launch Day!

    Games: Wii Sports, Wii Play, Red Steel, Twilight Princess, Marvel UA, Mario Party, Rayman, Super Paper Mario, Resident Evil 4, Splinter Cell: DA, Spiderman-3, TMNT, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Guitar Hero 3, Mario Strikers.

    4 Wii-motes, 4 Nunchucks and a classic controller.

    Get a Nintendo WiFi USB Connector. (:
    It only works for Windows XP. But, you should move your
    Wii a bit closer :/ Lol. Other than that, get a Wireless Router.

    Wired router will be the simplest setup, but you will need to run a cable and you will also need the USB Lan adapter for the Wii.

    Wireless is the cleanest, but requires the extra work for wireless setup. Even more work if you want to do it right and enable security (encryption, MAC-address filtering, etc). Otherwise everyone on your block will be stealing your internet connection.

    I recommend Buffalo routers.

    I only said to get a wireless router because I thought if you had
    a laptop and such.. you could use the wireless internet. (:
