    I need help with avatars.

    I want to make an avatar but not the ones already on there. I want to get one from the internet. I don't know how to make them.

    Do an online search for a free open source alternatives to expensive Adobe Photoshop. Look for "GIMP" and some basic tutorials, there are many out there that will teach you the basics . I used GIMP for mine. Then use an upload service.

    get an image
    then go to imageshack.us and upload it
    Then get the direct link to it
    Then put the url in the avatar bit
    If something isn't working try turning it off and on again

    GIMP is an image editor (GNU Image Manipulation Program) and a URL is the Web address at the top of the browser, http://www. and so on.

    You can, but you will have to shrink the image to a smaller size if it is too big. The "Edit Avatar" section of the User CP will tell you the maximum file size and pixel size.

    And imageshack is free, but I had problems with it before, so i quit.

    But ya. You can google search for one, save it to your computer, shrink it in Paint (or whatever picture editing program you have), save the new image, then you can upload it directly from your computer in the "Edit Avatar" section of your User CP.
    All my online info is on my profile including Wii number, game friend codes, etc.
