Need help with installing the wi-fi connector

Ok so i have a vista computer and i downloaded the vista drivers for the
connector on the wi-fi site and when i open the folder that i downloaded with the drivers to download the conection i get so far then it says internet sharing error 6

Vista doesn't like to play nice with the USB adapter.... or any hardware, for that matter.

I would invest in a cheap wireless router, it's worth the difference.

i kinda have the same problem
i have it installed and when i connect my DS it shows the little green bars for a while then it goes to no bars and red
i tryed turning off firewall and anti-virus, that didn't work to good.
any ideas?

Run Windows XP instead? I don't know anyone who has ever had their USB Connector work correctly with Vista. There is a method you can use to make your USB Connector into a wireless access point that will connect to devices outside of the Wii and DS. I'm not sure if that would work, though. When I tried it, my laptop would connect to the internet through the USB Connector, but my DS and Wii would not.

well the thing won't work on the main comp (xp) it only sorta works on my laptop (vista)
