friend code/name

ok sorry to be such a noob to all this but, I just got my wii yesterday (i'm in love) and created a Mii and all that but where do we find our friend code and how do we register a friend name. once I have how do I hook up with my friends and what can we do hooked up with each other?? thanks in advance

go to the Wii's message board (bottom right of the channels screen) and the address book. it should then show you. as of right now, all you can do with firends is send messages and do the Wii Parade thing

hey thanks mitch, so I entered my friends code and he entered mine and we still cant send messages to each other, what's the deal?
