    Purposes of giving someone your Wii friend number.

    Does anyone know the purpose of giving someone your Wii friend number is, besides sending messages back and forth?

    im tryin to figure that out too.. my question is after u put in the number and it says enter nickname .. who is that for u or who u are adding? and then when u add ur mii .. is that so he can see it on his Wii or what? i dont get how it works.. do u know?

    I'm guessing it will be used for online play at some point. You could drag other people Miis into your own console so that you can select them in a game or something like that.     Exactly. Instead of different friend codes for each game you buy, it's a single one on the console (thank God for that).
