College network blocks downloads

My college network blocks me from downloading things from the shop channel. Is there any way around this, like using a proxy or something, or do I have to take my Wii somewhere else to do it?

I can play online fine. I also downloaded a system update fine. Don't have the internet channel. I can get ON the shop channel but when I try to download something then it gets blocked. After taking my points of course, so I paid for something and never got it. I know I can download it later for free but still.
