Wii Wireless Works, but can't seem to upgrade (?)

I haven't used my Wii in several months and decided to turn it on this weekend. I've since upgraded my wireless access point and changed my configuration.

After updating the configuration I ran a test and was able to negotiate with the access point. Updated the news successfully, but was not able to check for updates for the Wii. It keeps on erroring out. What is wrong?

All other wireless items in the household functions properly, including two Nintendo DSi's.

So when you update lt does it say unable to update wii?

yes, that is correct. I'm not in front of it, but it returns an error message and to check the support website.

um...... I suggest you to call nintendo maybe they can tell you how to fix it because I never had this problem what wii version do you have?
