Settings in router ,channel 1 ore 11 for stupid error 32004

I have a wireless router.. brand ; U.S Robotics, Model 5466.

But most of the gamers said ,when you having the error 32004 (updating is not possible) change you'r router channel to 1 ore 11 .
Many people having trouble with this f *** error, also i called nintendo and i must sending the brandnew console to them , NO WAY !!!!!!
My quiston ; how must i change the channel on my router 1 ore 11 in my wirelles pc ???
