It hasn't happened to Xbox 360 yet has it? It's been online for over a year, and it's made by Microsoft.
I wouldn't worry about a Wii virus.

Haha, burn.
Viruses are usually targetted at large install bases. Wii will probably have a pretty large install base, and thus it is not far fetched to say there could be a Wii virus.Originally Posted by vagrant

What would be the most awesome Wii virus you could unleash ... (if you were a bad person, of course) ?
Unlike email, friend code systems allow for explicit filtering. With the (lame) Wii code system we have in place right now, you need both sender and receiver to accept each other, so unless you're a retard and keep the spammer in your address book, it shouldn't be an issue.Originally Posted by Evil Wario

Do you remember that IPOD/storage virus that was going around, I thought about it corrupting my SD memory on my Wii when I was going online, but then I realised how the browser would say "file format not supported", so in theory it would flash that up randomly if you were on naughty websites.
I’ve purposely surfed website I know to contain viruses, and all that happens is the browser refreshes the page 3 times the second time it tries to reload the page, the third time it goes back to the start page.
PM me for friends request for Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360.
