    i do not have DSL but my friend has it and he lives about 275 to 300 feet away will the wii pick up the signal

    you know your wasting more time waiting for a response instead of finding out for yourself... all i wanna say, it all depends on how strong the router broadcasts

    No. And it if magically does, by chance of there being 0 interference in between and a super duper strong signal, it wouldn't be good enough to even do anything.

    well i got a wireless adapter on this pc and the signal strength is all most always 45%

    - You still probably won't be able to do anything, because the connection will most likely drop you when you try to do anything.

    - If you have 45% signal, I gurantee your friend's house isn't 300 feet away.
