    Neighborhood Wii gaming ?

    Hi folks. Newbie here.

Am about to install my Wii and was wondering if it's possible to configure it so that my wireless router can talk to by buddy 2 houses down ( he has a Wii also - wireless ) and play against each other while staying at our own homes?

I can get a range booster to make my wireless reach farther - but what's the point if the 2 Wii systems won't talk to each other.

Perhaps this topic will be covered when the On-line gaming becomes available next year. But I was wondering if there was a way to do the above with the Wii systems now.

    Thanks and Merry Christmas !

    Turbo

There aren't any online playable Wii games right now. When the games come out, it will be easy to play against someone you know buy sharing friend codes.

If he has his connected to the internet too then just add each other to your buddy lists using your friend codes.
