    2 Weeks Offline Mode

I have a computer with 39 Games on my PC, most of which have been downloaded by steam. Let me ask your honest opinion on issue.

Do you think that a paying customer whom has spent $133.90 on these games should only have 2 weeks to play them in offline mode? Then have the application automatically block the customer from playing the games until reconnected to the internet? Why monitor consumers who cannot even transfer, copy, and or move files without application being aware of the change through clever programming that already comes along within the application? How does this solve copy protection, to which is what they tell me, they're probably making more pirates who get frustrated at the same mention problems and find that as a way around?

Well this is what I posted for them through a ticket:

I have have angrily reported to Steam through tickets with constant ferocity that I despise how this company treats consumers through the blocking their game purchases via offline mode.

"Offline Mode allows you to play games through Steam without reconnecting to the Steam Network every time you wish to play - this is particularly useful if you do not plan on playing over the internet and would prefer not to download new updates for your single-player games.
Please note that you must connect to the Steam Network and test each of the games you would like to use in Offline Mode at least once to set up your account and configure Offline Mode on your machine."

This is not true, I have to connect every two weeks in order to play. That is a hassle to me knowing that I have no internet I refuse to constantly go to hotspots just to continue playing. Purchasing the game and downloading once should have been enough.

I paid $133.90 on these games that I have not been able to play and enjoy. I am not happy with Valve for treating me like this for this second year of fueding with this service that apparently does not want to change its standards.

There are even games that I paid for that are offline mode capable, but the application fails to gain those files while in Online Mode through "Validation", and still does not work via "Offline Mode" when enterd back into it from being online. Meaning I've never really been able to ever play those games.

I'm also sick of the lies that people spread saying that steam is wonderful. Those are spoiled rich people that have internet while I'm $133.90 in a hole, unable to play the games I paid for while pirates play the games for free and forever.

What is the point of the time limits on Valve games that I have paid for? I feel like pirating ALL OF THE GAMES that I have on that list. I paid you to let me play, you don't let me do that. You are not the parent of me or my computer. I know what Steam is going to say or at least I think I do. The question is, are you going to fix the problem or end up making me pirate games from now on in order to continue to playing so that way no internet connection, no corporation, or even time can stop me?

Not all libraries offer free Wi-Fi... I've never known of a library that does, even.

Isn't if you have a library card you can access the internet? He can always ask some library's are different.

No, porn is useless unless you're not getting any [through master*******].

I've never had internet, mostly only hotspots

I don't see why your so mad about this. If its a laptop take it to Starbucks.
I would prefer not to constantly go to these hotspots when I already have these games. This costs me time doing nothing than doing things that I want. How would you like to have an XBOX One, 50 games installed into the system, but you have no easy access to internet to play your games for only one day? This is the same scenerio for me, except I only have 2 weeks; that's still a problem.

And you bought all those games on Steam without knowing about the offline limits? Also worth noticing that this was never a complaint from your other threads.
