Sagema, Sony has PSN games, which are getting better and better. They have cool titles like Everyday Shooter, Super Stardust HD, Pixel Junk Monsters, and soon will be adding the multiplatform titles 1942, Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. They also allow downloading of certain titles, like Warhawk, over the PSN. In addition they also have PS1 games that you can download, although the selection isn't as big as it should be.
I thought STF2 THDR(Freaking long title!) was XBL exclusive? Well Microsoft's continous blunder in being unable to keep their best games exclusive for very long. You won't see Mario Kart going to the PS3. But you will see Lost Planet on the PS3.
Sony still lacks in the independant games market, which is growing dramatically each year. It's clear the large companies don't want to break out of the mold, and they will rely heavily on more independant game developement. Which come from low budget start ups that are more willing to take the risk; so big companies can later move in and steal their ideas. The good news is we'll see companies like Konami start to overtake and destroy EA in sheer sales.
This year the consoles won't suffer in sales, the companies that support them will. To be more precise the crappy companies. Atari, EA, Namco Bandai, and Eidos. Let's hope EA can't manage a Take Two buy out. If EA can't manage that, they will slip further down that top 10 list this year.
