Ps3 HDD noise + loading question

Hey

Quick question, im wondering if its normal for the Ps3 to make strange noises when loading stuff. Almost like a strange quiet sucking/scratching noise (hard to explain, doesnt SOUND bad).

And is it normal for the game to take several seconds (up to 10) to load stuff on Motorstorm? (Like around 5-10 seconds for a race, couple seconds to load up vehicle data)

Its fine. My comp does that a lot with the scratching sound, mainly when I defrag.

Yes its normal for it to take a few second. Its a lot of data so its to be expected.

kk i wasnt sure. i knew hard drives made noises, was just making sure the Ps3's was noticable (tho u dont hear it when ur playing )
