Pokemon gen4: I can swap my SECs to play but... chances are I already imported my pokes to gen 5 and honestly the loss of items is infuriating.

A fighting type would tear the first three apart. I would say a Salamence would rip it, but youve got a ot of Ice coverage, still, you dont have much Dragon resistance. Metagross is your best bet against a Salamence, but hes your lead, so he'll prolly be gone early game.

Im trying too get a few more teams. So, Im considering movesets for my Pokemon. Does this seem like a good one for my Jumpluff?

Item: Focus Sash
Moves:
Leech Seed
Sleep Powder
Synthesis
Aerial Ace/Toxic

So, I would put them to sleep with Sleep Powder. If I misses the first time, I wouldent be in trouble cause of Focus Sash. Then I Leech Seed them. Then I use Synthesis if Jumpluff is hurt, to get her back to full health so Focus Sash will kick in. If I meet any other Grass-types wishing to spoil my plan, I put them to sleep and attack them with Aerial Ace. I know its attack isnt too good...but...its better than nothing. Toxic would maybe be a better choice, but then its screwed against those Grass/Poison types.

Err....still thinking about the others.

... Nick, the Focus Sash disappears like a berry after you use it, healing won't bring it back. Sandstorm and the less common Hail ruins the strategy completely too, and as a starter, Jumpluff isn't very intimidating. Synthesis is even further ruined by low PP and Sandstorm/Hail, meaning common TTar/Hippowdon/Abomasnow ruin it. Enemies like SR Aero could just taunt her as well, and then you can't do anything but Aerial Ace... Which will be doing pathetic damage.

In short, sorry to say, but that's a really bad moveset, Nick. It just doesn't mix with the metagame, and Jumpluff is only good as SubSeeding, nothing else (although it is certainly good at that).

Its still fun to use. I just like to come up with things that are considered origional, not suggested movesets by Smogon etc.

Originality is certainly good Nick, but originality is also easy to come up with these days. Smogon has everything, and almost everything "original" is worse than most, if not all, of Smogon's sets. There's a rare chance you could think up something amazing, but the moveset won't do it, it'l be the EVs. Smogon already has 99% of all general movesets, the only thing to do is come up with an original EV spread which is further supporting the EVs' duties. For example, the somewhat new Defensive Arcanine spread. It was Smogon born by a Smogonite, but it was still original.
