    Do I absolutely need to be connected to the internet to trade Pokemon? I want to trade between my Pearl and HeartGold and I have two DS systems? Help?

    Can someone just help me out here? I have two DS systems in my possession and I own Pearl, HeartGold, and White. I want to trade between Pearl and HeartGold. How do I do it?

    No, you don't need an internet connection as long as you have two DS systems. Just go to the union room in both games, keeping the DS's close each other, and set up the trade that way.
