UPDATE ON SOLO MANKEY BLACK RUN:

Just beat Cress, Tom is up to level 16. Is Patrat a good HM slave? Can someone find a better one for Black? All I need so far is Cut, but I'll need a water type right? For Surf/Waterfall/Whirlpool/Dive?

You only need to use cut to get through the game. You won't need any other HMs to get through the game.

Speaking about HMs, I would like a change in my pokemon's movesets so that I can use all the HMs.
Here are the HMs that I haven't got anyone to learn:
-Defog (I was thinking this could be the move to replace Pidgeot's Toxic)
-Strength
-Waterfall
-Rock climb

The pokemon I've been given and their movesets are:
-Kricketune-X scissor, Sing, Aerial Ace & Rock smash
-Starmie-Recover, Bubblebeam, Psychic & Surf
-Pidgeot-Tailwind, Twister, Swagger? & Fly
-Umbreon-Confuse Ray, Pursuit, Shadowball & Cut
-Rampardos-Head smash, Rock slide, Zen headbutt & Earthquake
-Porygon Z- Nasty Plot, Tri Attack, Thunderbolt & Recover

(The HMs that are already in my pokemon's movesets are in bold)

Notes: I swept the first gym with NomNom alone, then went back and caught all the pokes. While looking for the Seedot, I found and caught 2 Ralts' that appeared. (I was looking for that damn acorn for an hour) Then I gave up and remembered you can trade Ralts for Seedot...... Derp. Went to Dewford and delivered the letter in about 3 mins, and am now saved at the museum at Slateport waiting to fight some Aquas. Now I'm sitting here in bed thinking about what hell Flannery's Torkoal is going to give me.

Oh really? Only Cut? Sweet. However, I'm going to evolve Mankey, just because there's like 30 Munnas/Musharnas in Black, and they keep OHKOing me with Psybeam/Psychic.

Swanna is a good HM slave. Surf, Dive, and Fly all work.

Plus, if you chose Oshawott as a starter you got Waterfall covered, and you can get a free Zorua somewhere (I think it was Driftveil too) which Zoroark can learn Cut.

No. I chose Tepig because I didn't think it mattered.

Tom the Mankey evolve into Primeape, so I took him to Castelia to get his name changed. He is now Primepae the Primeape. Just beat Burgh, heading to Nimbasa to get my Bike! The Nimbasa gym will be easy, so I'll get Driftveil either today or Tomorrow.\

Beat Bianca little while ago, just going through the Desert Resort and owning Timburrs & Roggenrolas. But, just ran into one problem. How on Earth am I going to beat the Ghost Elite 4 member? Should I learn Punishment? Because I'll need Low Kick for Grimsley, Seismic Toss for Kaitlyn, Karate Chop+Seismic Toss for Marshal, the only slot left is Work Up, and thats only good in combo with Punishment.....

And Primeape cant learn any Ghost moves, so is there an item/move?

Thinking of doing a mono-type normal run on pokemon platinum.Any pokemon suggestions?

And can someone please adjust my movesets in my diamond scramble moveset to include all the HMs?

It took me a while to work this out, but I did. Get a Basculin. They can learn waterfall, surf, dive and cut. For fly and strength, there is no really easy way to get a single pokemon that can learn them in black but if you can trade with yourself from another game, you can use a rufflet, braviary, golurk or any of the legendaries. These are the only gen V pokemon that can learn both of this moves.
