If I was to do a challenge in Black 2, would it be considered cheating if I did it in easy mode? I'm not saying I will do it in easy mode if I can. I'm just wondering if I'm allowed.

Umm... How is it a Challenge if its done on easy...?

Black solo Primeape is goin' on hold for a while... Cuz now I have to find it... All my games "vanished", except for HG because it was in my 3DS. But that dos not mean that Platinum suggestions are paused.
Have a feelin' those ain't comin' any time soon... Oh shwell.

I tried to post it the first time and I couldn't see the post (I didn't think about the fact that it might the first post on the next page) so I posted it again (stupid move by me. I didn't even check for very long). It should be fixed sometime soon though.

Say you're doing an insanely difficult challenge (nuzlocke combined with a few other challenges) it would still be a challenge to beat.
I wasn't in any way saying or implying that I was going to do that though.

The differences are hilariously negligible, so I don't quite care whether someone does a Challenge on the easiest or hardest mode.

That's what I figured. Just wanted to check just in case I wanted to use easy mode during a later challenge.

But that was the point I was trying to make. An insanely difficult challenge like that would still be a challenge in easy mode.

...Got ready to face the Elite 4.

GO! PEAR! I send out my trusty Bellsprout first, not because he'll deal damage, but to Toxic Will's annoying little Xatu. This works only because of the Quick Claw. After that, Xatu used U-Turn, and took 2/3s of Pear's life. Not a problem. Now, with Slowbro in, it's safe for Dr. Zues. One Amnesia. DRZ is in. One curse. DRZ does 3/5s with Discharge. Two curses. Slowbro is down for the count. It says Will will send in Xatu. Which one? I keep Dr. Zues in, because I'm pretty sure Discharge is an OHKO on Xatu. A badly poisened Xatu comes in and uses U-Turn. The other Xatu comes out. OHKO on that Xatu. With Xatu (The other one) coming back, I switch to DaQuil and take what I thought was the 5HP loss, (U-Turn) that turned out to be a Psychic... That missed. I don't know what Will was thinking, but pulling a Confuse Ray? Also misses.. And Xatu takes 1000 degrees F. to the face for a KO. Since DaQuil took no damage, Eruption does hilarious damage, KOing Exeggutor without taking a hit. After missing Eruption (How exactly does that work?) And getting kissed on the cheek, DaQuil is on the bench while Pear decides to miss 3 Sleep Powders in a row, and dies, its DaQuil's turn. Again. I try to "play it safe," and pull a flamethrower, when apparently its not an OHKO. So a after a Max Potion, I decide to try eruption, and FINALLY a KO. Will goes down. I heal myself and "trudge on."

KOGA:
Wheh Berd (I changed his name) comes in, his sweep is set. Two flys, 4 turns later, Koga's lost an Ariados and a Venomoth. When Crobat comes in, I go for Pluck, just to take the Sitrus Berry. Poison Fang does 1/3, and poisons me. Berd is basically done for tha battle, so it's fine. When Rocky the Onix comes in, Quick Attack does 4 damage. One Rockslide and the Crobat has no energy. Instead of Muk, Koga goes for Foretress, and DaQuil comes out. I used one flamethrower, and it was out like a light. Muk vs Rocky. Muk=KOed. I have to say: Will will always be harder than the rusty old Gym Leader. More healing, advance.

BRUNO:
Even though his levels are higher, these E4s are too easy. While fly does the same thing it did for Koga on his first two Pokemon, Hitmontop and Hitmonchan don't put up a fight. Hitmonlee, however, kills itself with two Hi Jump Kick misses. Because Onix and Machamp have Stone Edge, Two Hydro Pumps take down Onix. (It would have been one... STURDY!) While discharge paralyzes Machamp, one Critical Cross Chop takes down DRZ. 2 Eruptions eventually took out Machamp, but killed ScZ and Bird in the process, and then waved it off with a Full Restore. But still Will was harder than E4 2 and 3 combined.

Hey I'm new to the forum question: if a region's Pokedex doesn't have 6 pokemon of one type, can 2 types be combined for like a duotype challenge?

Never mind, found a type I'm going to use. Pokemon black monotype/ice

EDIT: changed to ice because I found out I could use pokemon from other games

Welcome t' the forums, Zingem. =) No double posting.

Your challenge is accepted. Though, keep in mind that if you've got wi-fi (or a link cable for the old generations) that you're allowed to trade in eggs for a most types of challenges. Monotypes especially since ya can't catch a full team of every type in some games. With that said, enjoy ya challenge bro.

Welcome to WiiChat You can use pokemon from other regions if you want. You have to trade them to your challenge game in egg form though. If you need eggs for any pokemon, pm Splash_King and he'll get you the eggs you need.
