I don't think the challenge is a scramble. I think it's just a monotype.



Speaking of monotype challenges, you never accepted my extremely early grass monotype on pokemon X using all the grass starters

Update on the Emerald front, caught a Ralts and had mudkip level it to 6
bombed it to about level 10, then entered the woods, fought off the Grunt with Mudkip.
Went back to Petelburg and dropped off Mudkip and wandered off to Rustboro
Went to the gym and beat the two trainers, got Ralts to 13.
Am now gonna go grind on route 116 until around 18

In regards to the grunt in the woods, ralts doesn't learn any non psychic moves that aren't tm's, can I use mudkip to take him down?

Yep, that's fine. Think a similar situation arose from a Challenger usin' Ralts a year or two ago, 'less my memory's spinnin' tales again.

Beat Roxanne rather easily
Used Mudkip to K.O the aqua grunt (again)
Beat May and got Ralts to 19
Got to Dewford trained Ralts to 20 and evolved her
Beat Dewford Gym and delivered the letter to Steven (Caught an Abra but deposited it incase someone selects Kadabra for one of my pokemon)
Picked up the EXP Share and got to Slateport
Did everything there
Headed to Mauville, beat every trainer on the way
Arrived in Mauville and beat Wally.

I'll do more tomorrow.

Flew to Slateport City but Archie escaped.
