Are challenges undertaken in unofficial games counted (in this case Pokemon Flora Sky, a hack of emerald)? If so, I am in progress for a ground mono-type in Flora Sky, a Nuzlocke in Flora sky (different version), and a No Evolutions in Leaf Green.

As far as I know, they don't count unfortunately. The Leaf Green one might count though. That Saphire one won't.

I have also previously completed a Sapphire single-pokemon challenge with Swampert, if that counts.

Challenges started or completed outside the thread aren't eligible t' be accepted, sorry friend.

As for hacks, I was asked 'bout their legitimacy quite some time ago and gave a decisive "no"... but I'm not so sure anymore. I definitely wouldn't allow those Challenges to fulfill any requirement to become a Champion, but perhaps they can still be inducted in the Hall of Fame.

My opinion ain't very decisive this time 'round, so... what're y'all's opinion on hacks, Challengers?

I'm particularly fond of Blaze Black/Volt White. The hack consists of increasing the difficulty of trainer and wild pokemon battles by increasing the amount of pokemon held and their levels. It also allows you to obtain every Pokemon within the game.

I've not had experience with any other hacks.

I think it's you have a good idea in allowing it to get in the HoF but it doesn't count towards becoming a champion.
I personally have absolutely no experience with hacks so I don't know what they're like.


I'll have an update for my SM and B2S challenges soon (by soon I mean any time within the next few hours) including a team update.
Oh and those new rules won't count for the above challenges will they?

B2S UPDATE

Spoiler Alert!

I got the eggs, hatched them, then stated training them in the Virbank Complex until they got to level 20. Except Eevee/Espeon. I trained her to level 21 so she could learn Psybeam.
Once they were at the levels I wanted them at, I challenged and decimated the gym with Espeon's Psybeam. I then went to pokestar studios and made a film (which I didn't feel like watching). Once I was done, I battled Team Plasma, chased them to route 20, battled them again, ran back to Virbanm City and sailed to Castelia City where I got my bike, saved and moved onto my Sapphire challenge.

SM UPDATE

Spoiler Alert!

I started training my Ralts to level 20 so it could evolve into Kirlia. Once that was done, I challenged Brawly and beat him quite easily with a few Confusions from Kirlia. I then travelled to the spot where I battle May, battling every trainer I could find in the way. I then finished the training in the grass before the battle. Again, I got everyone to level 20.
