Surfed over to Mahogany and made my way t' the Lake of Rage, catchin' me that famous Red *Gyarados for use as an HM slave. Booted the Rockets outta their den 'n took on Pryce. Dirge beat 'em up but good, especially since I equipped 'em with the Choice Specs I found up at the lake. He managed to stall out Dirge a tad through a combination of items 'n Rest spam, but that mattered little. Glacier Badge get!
Manhandled Team Rocket grunts en masse 'n their executives with ease. Archie wasn't much harder, as his Houndoom was unable to OHKO my Dirge, Specs-boosted Surf most certainly KOing in one shot. Got me that Silver Wing 'n Sunny Day, which I immediately taught t' Facepalm. With a Chlorophyll boost, Facepalm is actually mighty fast, allowin' 'em to spam Solarbeam with impunity or use an speedy Sleep Powder.
Flew over to Mahogany and made my way through the Ice Path, immediately tackling Blackthorn Gym upon exiting. I wasn't at all worried since I had Tlaloc t' tank them Dragons with impunity... turns out I didn't even need t' use 'em on the Gym trainers.

I wasn't concerned 'bout PP for the battle with Clair, so I just used a healin' item or two and got right to it.
As always, she starts with Gyarados. I led with Facepalm with plans t' abuse my newly obtained Sunny Day. Her not-so-Dragon-type dragon's Bite did flinch Facepalm once, with the second hit leavin' 'em at literally five HP, but with the sun shinnin' bright and boosted speed Sleep Powder knocked it out cold, allowin' me to heal up and just barely smash Gyarados out cold with two Solarbeams. Hoping it wasn't the one with Fire Blast, I went for the Sleep Powder as the sunlight faded. It miraculously didn't miss, allowin' me to set up sunlight again and get back t' spammin' Solarbeam... unfortunately it woke up after the second shot, countering with a boosted Fire Blast. Facepalm didn't have a chance of survivng...
Out goes Dirge to spam Shadow Ball. Clair's Dragonair does get off an annoyin' Thunderwave 'fore fainting, sadly. Next up comes her Kingdra, doin' enough damage to easily 3HKO Dirge with it's Dragon Pulse. However, a lucky Special Defense drop from the first Shadow Ball all but ensures an easy KO, just barely knockin' it out. I haven't even needed Tlaloc t' tank for me yet, so considerin' all she has left is her Aqua Tail Dragonair, there's no chance of losin'. Two Shadow Balls later, Rising Badge get!
With that done, I made my way t' the Whirl Islands to
claim the real prize obtain my last team member. I'd been collectin' Black Apricorns t' make a shitton of Heavy Balls. When put asleep and at 1 HP, those Heavy Balls give it a catch rate of 46. Even with only a few more than 20 balls, this meant the capture would be pretty damn easy. Things went wrong the first two tries (RNG just barely KO'd it, then a crit offed it), as well as a third when it had a bloody Adamant nature, but the second catch was good enough. A Bashful nature is acceptable I s'pose. Ain't like it needs a boosting nature t' anything considerin' it's an Uber, after all.
