I like quite a few'a Unova Pokes... hell, I love Unova and BW1/2; especially the changes it brought... though that's beside the point. You're venturing int' the territory of opinions, which ain't anythin' that can back up your argument. If opinions were valid, I'd use my own opinion in that RSE was the lowest point in the Pokemon series and DPP was a huge improvement on it, with BW1/2 an ever larger improvement thereof. Followin' that logic, XY is gonna be even grander.

Not at all. Only Grass-types have ever evolved via Sun Stone. This could be changed, but I doubt they'l do it. Unless we get a new stone or new evolution method/location-based evolution, I'd imagine it'l likely be a Moon Stone.

Oh my god you guys are having a logic flop

Past gen Pokemon can only evolve into new forms if the evolution method is not available prior to the generation the form is introduced in. The only exceptions are Lickilicky and Mamoswine, and this was an oversight most likely.
