Because clearly Trollfreak hasn't at all tried t' make good Pokemon designs. Sure, every single Poke since Gen 3 has been a Feebas or Trubbish.

Game Freak hasn't jumped on the DLC bandwagon or anythin' of the sort. If they put absolutely ****-all effort 'n soul into either the games or especially new species' designs, Pokemon would've died a generation or two ago. The only rudely profitable stunt they've ever pulled is the "3rd game of every generation" bullshit, which isn't all-that terrible anyways. 'Specially not with the advent of BW2.

Cinnabar Island/Chargestone Cave/the whole evolution by day 'n night is really just meant t' work upon the introduction of time in GS, Eevee kind'a just evolves into Espeon that way 'cause it makes a lot of sense for Umbreon.

@Trago; I think they are, for the most part. The monkeys and Garbodor are the only flops of Gen V, imo. I don't dislike the later, but seriously, why would they think anyone would like Garbodor? Stunfisk and Vanilluxe have lol factor for some people, but Garbodor has nothing. It's like it was made to be made fun of. Same with Klink and its evolutions, to a lesser extent.
