I loved it back then and I loved it surprisingly just as much as I did before when I got it for the GBA. It's surprising how Mario games can be so good after all these years.

I actually liked it more than Super Mario World and lost levels, but not quite as much as Super Mario Bros. 3 though. I think it got a bad rep for not being the typical Mario platforming game and not being originally a Mario game.

People were just mad they got something that originally never was a Mario game instead of the real Super Mario 2 which is understandable, but they forgot to realise we still got a much improved version of a good game.

If I were back in the 80's I'd gladly take our Super Mario Bros. 2 over the lost levels.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That away, when you criticize them, you're a mile way and you have their shoes.

Didn't like it too much, even though I bought it instead of SMB3 when it came out. Definitely regretted it.

I'm not saying that it's a bad game, it's just the worse out of the original three. SMB3 is obviously superior to the other two!

Me and my sister weren't fans of it at first because it didn't have two players, but we eventually grew to love it. Extremely fun game.

When I was a kid it was my favorite Mario game. I just liked the depth and gameplay it had that other Mario games didn't and throwing vegetables was cool. That's why I can't wait till' Super Paper Mario, looks like a Mario platforming game with some depth!

Today I think I like 3 a little better, but for me it goes 3, 2, and 1.
