TLOZ: Ocarina Of Time Please Help Me Lol!

I am in the Shadow Temple, by the boss door, there is a chasm infront of me. You can get across using the Scarecrows Song but I never got it. So, I went to bomb the plants to smash the statue down to create a bridge, but my bombs won't reach when thrown, will somebody please help me get across the chasm lol.

EDIT: Ah don't worry, done it, had to shoot an arrow at the bomb plants.
