Sorry, but that is highly unlikely. There is would be no reason to drop the series, and there is no character to replace him (such as Ness-Lucas).

yeah captain falcon is obviously in....tis a give-in....just the only part that is weird is lack of rep

edit=i think there has been talk but right now(as hard as it is to believe for some people) nintendo are working on a lot of games, they can't just release all their franchises within the first two years of the wii

I have to disagree.

Look at Melee Ness. Now look at Brawl Lucas.

PK Fire - Check
PK Freeze - From what I understand, it is EXACTLY like Ness' B move. From what I've heard, Ness' B move was a move that only Ness could perform in his series', thus the change.
PK Thunder - Check
Psi Magnet - Check

Now what was wrong with Ness in Melee?
-Poor up special

Solution: Give Ness Lucas a grapple recovery.

These are all solutions to problems Ness had, and therefore, (with the exception of the B move) this is exactly how Ness would look if he would be in Brawl.

The only difference between the two is that Lucas' has some sick hair.

Wow, I don't like people making their own ridiculous assumptions just because of tiny stuff in updates. I swear to all of you: Captain Falcon will be in Brawl, and Ness will be in Brawl, if that's not true then I'll banish myself from Wiichat and never bother you again.

Leve, they have similar moves, but it doesn't mean they're clones, just like Luigi and Mario

^Ness will be in Brawl via costume, clone, Assist Trophy or Subspace Storyline.
