As dumb as that was, I have to say, it's relatively true...too many peoples are whining. Nowhere near everyone though =P

I'm torn on the new update...the stage seems. Well I dunno..a bit bland?

I mean it inverts 180 degrees, that's ok. But the PArasite queen in the background is like Kraid was in the stage in melee. Just there, doesn't do anything.

If she fired the energy Beam from Prime 1 then we'd have something nifty, but she just sits there in her stasis cell. Ah well it's not TOO bad I suppose.

The music from Earthbound (Mother 3) was worth it though. That game always makes me smile..Ah, childhood memories..anyways I think we were overdue for a new stage, so it's nice we got something.

Well, we finally got a stage from Prime...even if it merely replaces Brinstar Depths, at least we know Sakurai's team has played some of the newer installments =P Very promising for other stages and musics IMO...

And the Mother 3 music was pretty cool ^_^

i agree, nice to see they are acknowledging more metroid games lol.

also, my VC update prediction to coincide with brawl (long shot!)

Super Smash Bros 64 (N64)
Mother 3(whatever system it came out on) or Earthbound
if another one, it will be...Megaman. Because I think megaman is the last new guy in the game.

^ Sam Earthbound (AKA Mother 3) was an RPG released for the SNES. I definitely recommend getting it if/when it become s availaable on VC.

Also which Megaman would you want them to pull the powers/moves from? I personally have a place in my heart for the classics. (Pre-Megabuster)

The X series made him a bit too powerful for me, I liked the old platforming/timing elements involved in the originals. but that's just me.

I am fairly certain Mother 3 (with Lucas) is a GBA game... isn't it? Ness' game was on the SNES and was released worldwide as far as I remember.

Very true, would be quite an interesting level if he was a variable as well, that is, that Sakurai 'forgot' to mention.

All in all, I think its safe to say that the filler updates are done with [in excess]. The entire last week, as well as today's update were all average.
