I know theres not alot of jigglypuff fans here but I something found out somthing when I playing online.

try this: When using jiggilypuff, hold the sheild until it breaks. jigglypuff flys up and your out.

is it a glitch? or does the same thing happen in Melee?

The shield break suicide thing isn't a glitch, it's actually sort of a joke the staff willingly implemented. You can actually break your own shield by holding it until it gets too small, and suicide.

It really must be a joke though, since that'd make Jigglypuff much worse of a character. If they put that feature in the game to "balance" out Jiggly, they forgot she's terrible enough as is. :P

The Shield-jump can be useful in places like SSE, through.

Go to the f*cking ice mountain and do the shield break to see what I mean. As long as theres an obstacle or something above you, Jiggly dosnt die.
