So... ... ... Is this hatred of Squeenix some sort of (understandable) butthurt over Final Fantasy being so severely changed in the modern times, or am I missing the point of that statement?

The Squeenix change certainly is understandable, but it would be fine so long as there was at least someone else who stayed true to the old free roaming RPG style (Pokemon doesn't count). Otherwise though, they still do fine as far as story goes in my book, but that's only part of what Final Fantasy is supposed to be.

Story and Interaction are the main points of Final Fantasy. Story stays strong to me, but interaction's gone flat. There's not much on the side, the story's good but rushed, and of course since X the games have been entirely linear.

He's going to be for sure. They've stated they'll most likely add a Capcom character in the next Smash, and on top of that Megaman has never been in MvC. Why? Because Capcom was saving him for somewhere he would do better.

If they indeed have mentioned Capcom joining the Smashing, then it looks like my Zero moveset and I are gonna be cryin' in a lone corner... ;_; Zero's had his visit to MvC, now it's X's turn to show up in another series, it seems.

I'm pretty sure he was in MvC 2, and he is DLC in SFxT.

Well if they do add a capcom charactar it may be Zero or Megaman who knows
