PM plays way better than Brawl that's for sure. I haven't given up on Project M though.
Don't discredit mods by sayin' that. It's only natural an unfinished product wouldn't be perfect... and, of course, P:M is still in beta. So who knows, maybe MR's Wright. Or maybe it's personal preference. Who knows.
Again, you're discrediting modders by sayin' that. Professional modders have the same, if not more skill than professional game designers. P:M feels more natural than vBrawl, and it's not even finished yet.
Recap of yesterday:
I'm still terrible I did win one set against a Samus player, but he's not much better than me. I find myself trying to do things that I'm pretty sure don't even work, like Triangle hopping through single hit attacks and projectiles. Is that even a thing? In theory, it sounds cool and it would look cool, but I'm not even sure if it's viable.
On a brighter note, I plan on playing again tonight, and successfully performed a Meteor Cancel to save myself.
Oh, forgot it existed. Type of Wavedash.
The problem is that it leaves you open at the end and it is slow enough to punish. When a Falco/Fox is SHFF Lasering you he is waiting for you to make a mistake. Fox is quick enough to punish a Triangle Jumps and Falco will be closing the ground as he is lasering.
Also if they are Dash Dancing in front of you, they are also waiting for you to move and they will try to bait you.
Roy is at a huge disadvantage to Samus so your victory over him is a good one.
TwentyFive dollars + Shipping for a black t shirt with 3 words? Sounds expensive.
Also, this December, there's a tournament of Melee in Louisville, Kentucky if any of you are interested. If I get to be any good and it doesn't interfere with Finals, then I'll be going.
