Switch To Jap For ALttP?

Has anyone managed to switch regions to access ALttP? I'm not even sure if switching regions to get games not currently accessable in your own is even true, but if so has this been done?

I'll take a guess and say that probably the Nintendo central server uses your IP address in order to determine the region you're connecting from.

Well, not completely, the Wii already is region specific, for example, if you do the weather channel it already knows your country, but it tells you to put in your state and city but the city screen is not that accurate, for example, I live in Dublin Ohio, that option was not in there so I had to select Columbus
