(bundles can be bought online for very cheap, but for those who dont have the means of buying online, $80-$120 is fair), but for the classic controller, the most you'll need is two. They're out there, I can't think of a single one off the top of my head, but what are the odds you're going to want to play a game on NES, SNES, Sega, or Turbografx that supports more than 2 players?
I will admit for Turbografx games, I know next to nothing about, so perhaps they do support more than 2 players, but as for the rest, most are going to be 1-2 players.
