Which should I get?

OI bro, by mario cart double dash for gamecube, (still need memory card and controller) coz its wicked as bro, and secndly Street of rage 2 is way better!

Try Gradius and/or Gradius 3. These are great games and seem to rarely get any attention on this forum. They are challenging, especially the first one since it was more or less built for arcade.

Gunstar Heroes is incredibly hard. I can't make it passed the first boss.

Wow...Gunstar Heroes was the first game I downloaded.
As for the two, id go with SOR2.
