    Wii points ---> how do they work?

    hi i got a question about wii points, this is gonna be my first time purchasing wii points, and i want to know how they work.

    Do they come with a CD or something like? or is it just number that you register in the Wii shop channel? im asking you this cuz i cant purchese them from where i live in, so my cousin's going to buy'em, so could he easily send me the serial number just to register in the Wii shop channel, or do i need to get them in my hands face to face/ or if he sends me the serial number via email i can just resgister them?

    yeah you can register the wii points if your cousin hasn't

    Edit: yeah you dont need the card just the number
