The Legend of Zelda NES (The first one)

So I just got this game on VC and ive been playing it like crazy. I've assumed that the number under your name on the save file is the amount of times you have died. For those of you who have beat it, how many times did you die before beating it


I have 3 triforce shards i think...and ive died roughly 150 times, lol i know its bad huh

I never beat it, I like zelda 2 the adventure of link more, I find it more fun.

for the first quest, i died 15 times i think, the second quest...oy, i didnt beat it yet, but probably will be around 200 times, tht quest is tough.

really......i watched my brother play through the whole game, once he finished it, i started to playing and gotten help from my bro while playing at the same time

i played once but i never got past the begining so i died about like 5 times

I did it in about 10 tries this time on the vc. I used to be able to complete the first quest in one try, and the second quest, well............I die a LOT on that one. LOL.

But I am old now and slow at reacting LOL. I think both NES Zelda games are gems.
